Meet Barbara Rozgonyi, Your Transformation Agent

About Barbara Rozgonyi . . . edgy, grounded, prophetic

Barbara Rozgonyi heads up CoryWest Media, a consulting firm specializing in designing accelerated marketing plans for family owned and privately held business that want to grow their businesses quickly, profitably and in creative directions. As the moderator of the Marketing Transformations Network, Barbara transmits newly relevant information via speaking, teleseminars and email communications.

Named after her mother and grandmother, CoryWest was founded in 1990 after Barbara spent her first Mother's Day on a business trip. Realizing there had to be a more civilized way to be available for such momentous occasions, Barbara went through career counseling before exiting her post as a national sales manager.

Discovering that her talents were in floral design and writing, Barbara diligently pursued both routes and found kindred spirits at the Independent Writers of Chicago. The members of this group offered encouragement, leadership opportunities and even job leads!

Today, Barbara draws her creative inspiration and influence from her family members.

Her mother, Audrey Marie Cory Rozgonyi and her grandmother, Verna Opal West Cory, were both storytellers and writers that carried on family traditions and nurtured tight family bonds that endure across three generations today.

A former national sales manager, Barbara's creative portfolio encompasses writing, project management, media relations, marketing consulting, strategic planning and production for clients in the education, insurance, healthcare, consulting, steel and retail industries.

Barbara's an expert communicator who works independently or assembles talented teams to complete full service consulting, print or Web projects. CoryWest's client list includes global corporations, national retailers, local businesses and not-for-profit organizations. She is a WealthyMind trainer (a program developed and trademarked by internationally recognized coaching and training experts, Tim and Kris Hallbom) and often creates special interest programs for groups like writers and entrepreneurs.

The mother of three and the wife of a 70 time marathon runner and mountain climber, Barbara enjoys conjuring up new culinary creations, planting perennials and taming shrubberies, scouting out photo ops and volunteering to speak up.
